Ocho Apellidos Catalanes

Ocho Apellidos Catalanes (English: Eight Catalan Surnames), known as Spanish Affair 2 in English, is a Spanish comedy film directed by Emilio Martínez-Lázaro. It is the sequel to the successful 2014 film Ocho Apellidos Vascos (Spanish Affair), with the four main actors reprising their characters. It premiered in Spain on 20 November 2015.

Plot

Some time after the events of Ocho Apellidos Vascos, Rafa (Dani Rovira) and Amaia (Clara Lago) have parted ways and now she is dating a Catalan man named Pau (Berto Romero). After having given in to the idea of his daughter dating an Andalusian, Koldo (Karra Elejalde) decides this is too much and ventures outside the borders of Euskadi for the first time in his life to search for Rafa in Seville and convince him to try and win Amaia's heart back.

Spanish Affair is a 1957 American-Spanish co-produced drama film directed by Don Siegel and Luis Marquina. It featured Carmen Sevilla, Richard Kiley and José Guardiola.

Plot

Merritt Blake, a young American architect, comes to Spain to close a series of commercial agreements. When he learns that he will need to convince three Spanish architects of the design which he has proposed, he insists on inviting Mari (Antonio's assistant) to function as interpreter.

They set off, first to visit the Conde de Rivera, who tells Merritt that he will support the project if his colleague in Barcelona favors the plan. Mari cautions Merritt that this is not a "done deal."

On the way to Barcelona, Mari notices that her former boyfriend is following her. She fears that he will assume she is involved inappropriately with the architect. She tries to return to Madrid, but the architect insists she continue the journey with him.

Plot

Rafa (Dani Rovira) has never left his native Seville, Andalusia, until he meets a Basque girl named Amaia (Clara Lago), who resists his seduction techniques. Against his friends' advice, he follows her to Euskadi after she stays the night in his house and forgets her purse. A series of misunderstandings forces Rafa to impersonate a full-blooded Basque with eight surnames, and he gets more and more entangled in that character in order to get his way.
